Community Naloxone Program

East Coast Recovery Center offers a free Community Naloxone Program that provides Narcan® to community members through a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The program reflects the center’s commitment to compassionate care and the belief that every life has value.

Tom Meade

Managing Partner

Thomas Meade is a Co-Founder of East Coast Recovery, where he helps guide the organization’s finances, operations, and overall direction.

Tom’s work at ECR is rooted in a simple belief: recovery happens when people feel safe, supported, and connected. ECR’s approach is built around meeting people where they are, creating a safe space for recovery to begin, and recognizing that there are many different pathways to lasting recovery.

At ECR, Tom has focused on creating space for a program that exposes clients to a range of recovery tools, ideas, and communities so each person can begin to find what works for their own journey. He believes strongly that connection is the opposite of addiction, and that community is one of the most important parts of long-term recovery.

As a person in long-term recovery himself, Tom brings both personal experience and practical leadership to ECR’s mission of helping individuals and families find hope, stability, and a path forward.

Megan Berube, LICSW

Executive Clinical Director

Megan Berube, LICSW, serves as the Executive Clinical Director at East Coast Recovery Center, where she oversees all clinical programming and leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

With more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health, Megan has held leadership positions across various treatment settings, including substance use treatment programs, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatry, crisis intervention, and community behavioral health. Her clinical expertise includes addiction treatment, trauma-informed care, crisis assessment, program development, clinical supervision, and quality improvement.

Megan earned her Master of Social Work from Boston College after completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Eastern Connecticut State University and an Associate of Science in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counseling.

As Executive Clinical Director, Megan is responsible for developing and implementing clinical programming, supervising therapists, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining clinical excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and person-centered care. She is committed to ensuring every client receives individualized treatment that addresses the whole person and promotes sustainable recovery.

Stephanie Blick, MS

Director of Operations

Steph serves as Director of Operations at East Coast Recovery, bringing over a decade of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, clinical operations, and program development. With a background spanning direct clinical care, organizational leadership, compliance, and systems development, Steph is passionate about building sustainable, mission-driven environments where both clients and care teams can thrive.

Throughout her career, Steph has worked at the intersection of clinical care and operational strategy, using her clinical background to inform a people-centered approach to organizational development. She has supported the creation and expansion of trauma-informed behavioral health programs, developed curricula and treatment programming, and built the operational systems needed to support effective care delivery. Her experience includes licensing and accreditation initiatives, payer credentialing, revenue cycle optimization, quality improvement, and cross-functional leadership.

Known for her creative and solutions-oriented approach, Steph brings the ability to translate complex clinical needs into practical operational strategies. She believes strong systems should not only support organizational goals, but also empower clinicians, strengthen teams, and ultimately improve outcomes for the people being served.

Steph holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Certified Wellness Practitioner. Her work is grounded in the belief that supporting the people who provide treatment is essential to creating effective, ethical, and sustainable behavioral health organizations.

Robert MacDonald

Director of Business Development

Robert Macdonald serves as the Director of Business Development at East Coast Recovery, where he connects individuals and families to high-quality, person-centered treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. With more than five years of experience on the private-pay side of behavioral health, Rob has held roles spanning case management, recovery coaching, intervention, and business development. His experience includes crisis case management, dual diagnosis intervention, referral relationship management, and clinical outreach.

Rob leads outreach, referral development, and strategic partnerships, working to remove barriers so more people can access the level of care they need. Prior to joining East Coast Recovery, he served as Director of Business Development at Hubbard Health Consulting, where he led outreach and admissions across a portfolio of dual diagnosis transitional living programs, including Strathmore House and Arlo House. He also maintains an active caseload as a dual diagnosis case manager and interventionist.

As Director of Business Development, Rob is responsible for building and sustaining relationships with clinicians, treatment professionals, and community partners, and ensuring that individuals and families are connected to the right level of care. He approaches his work with deep curiosity and empathy for those struggling with substance use disorder at any stage of change, along with a rigorous commitment to meeting people exactly where they are.

As a person in long-term recovery himself, Rob brings both personal experience and professional expertise to ECR’s mission, and believes in a mindful, joyful approach to a field that calls for steadiness and hope.

Dave Forrest

Lead BHT

Dave is a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician who has been a valued member of the East Coast Recovery team for the past four years. Throughout his time with the organization, Dave has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges and rewards of recovery. His compassionate approach, reliability, and genuine concern for the well-being of others help create a safe and supportive environment where participants can focus on personal growth and healing.

In his role, Dave provides day-to-day support, encouragement, and guidance to individuals in treatment, helping them build healthy routines, develop coping skills, and stay engaged in the recovery process. He works closely with the clinical team to ensure participants receive consistent care and support while fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and hope.

Dave is passionate about helping others recognize their strengths and potential. He believes that recovery is a journey built on connection, perseverance, and support, and he is honored to be part of that journey for the individuals and families served by East Coast Recovery.

Ryan Grow, LADC II

Group Facilitator | Office Manager

Ryan Grow is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC II), Group Facilitator, and Recovery Specialist with a passion for helping individuals build meaningful and sustainable recovery. Drawing from both professional training and personal life experience, Ryan brings authenticity, compassion, and enthusiasm to his work with individuals affected by substance use disorders.

At East Coast Recovery, Ryan facilitates outpatient process and psychoeducational groups utilizing evidence-based approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and 12-Step Facilitation. He is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where participants can develop self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and build a foundation for long-term recovery.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and completed the Addiction Counseling Education Program at UMass Boston to obtain his LADC II credential. He is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree, further expanding his ability to serve individuals and families impacted by addiction.

Katelyn Peschier, LADC II

Primary Therapist

Katelyn began her career at East Coast Recovery Center as a Case Manager, where she quickly demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth and exceptional client care. After earning her LADC II credential, she transitioned into the role of Primary Therapist, where she continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in recovery.

She is currently furthering her education by pursuing her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at UMass Global, reflecting her ongoing commitment to expanding her clinical knowledge and strengthening her practice.

Known for her clinical expertise, compassion, and ability to build strong therapeutic relationships, Katelyn provides evidence-based individual and group therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs. She is dedicated to helping clients gain insight into the underlying factors contributing to substance use, strengthen healthy coping skills, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Her warm, collaborative approach and unwavering commitment to helping others make her a highly respected clinician.

Pauline Habelt

BHT and Group Facilitator

Pauline is a Group Facilitator and Behavioral Health Technician at East Coast Recovery, where she supports clients in their daily recovery journey through structured group programming, therapeutic engagement, and consistent, compassionate care. She plays an active role in facilitating psychoeducational and process-oriented groups, helping individuals build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical tools for sustained recovery.

Originally from Ireland, Pauline holds dual citizenship, bringing a broad cultural perspective to her work and a strong appreciation for diversity in lived experience. She values creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to engage honestly in their recovery process and build meaningful connections with others.

Pauline is currently advancing her professional development by working toward her Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC II) credential, deepening her expertise in substance use disorder treatment and evidence-informed clinical practice. She remains committed to ongoing growth in the behavioral health field and to supporting individuals in achieving stable, long-term recovery.

Angie Chianese

Case Manager

Angie is a Case Manager at East Coast Recovery, where she provides comprehensive support to individuals navigating substance use and mental health recovery. With years of experience in the behavioral health field, she brings a deep understanding of the recovery process and the practical challenges individuals face while working toward stability and long-term wellness.

Angie works closely with clients to coordinate care, connect them with community resources, and support goal development across multiple areas of life, including housing, employment, healthcare, and ongoing treatment engagement. She is known for her steady presence, strong advocacy, and ability to help individuals access the tools and supports needed to sustain recovery progress.

Her approach is grounded in respect, consistency, and person-centered care, with a focus on meeting individuals where they are and helping them move forward at a realistic and sustainable pace. Angie is committed to supporting clients in building structure, accountability, and confidence as they work toward lasting change.

Aaron Weiner, MSW

Primary Therapist

Aaron is a Primary Therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care. He provides individual and group therapy focused on increasing self-awareness, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing practical skills that support lasting recovery.

Aaron utilizes evidence-informed therapeutic approaches to help clients identify the underlying factors contributing to substance use while building healthier coping strategies and improving daily functioning. He believes in a collaborative, person-centered approach to treatment, partnering with each client to establish meaningful goals and create individualized plans that promote long-term recovery and overall well-being. Aaron is committed to fostering a structured, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to engage in honest self-exploration, build resilience, and create lasting change.

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, graduating with honors, from the University of Hartford, where he completed a literature synthesis project exploring the intersection of psychology and human experience. He went on to earn his Master of Social Work from Boston University.

Prior to joining East Coast Recovery Center, Aaron gained experience providing clinical services to individuals with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. He has managed diverse caseloads and facilitated evidence-based group programming designed to promote emotional wellness, relapse prevention, and personal growth. Aaron is passionate about helping individuals develop the insight, confidence, and skills needed to build fulfilling lives in recovery.

Barbara Isgur, LADC I

Group Facilitator

Barbara is a caring and highly experienced Licensed Addiction Counselor with more than 30 years of experience facilitating both individual and group therapy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and credentials as a LADAC-I and CADAC-II.

Barbara is committed to evidence-based practice, dual diagnosis treatment, and supporting clients with co-occurring disorders in a comprehensive and integrated manner. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment that empowers individuals to build insight, strengthen recovery skills, and sustain long-term sobriety.

Kelly Meade, LICSW

Primary Therapist

Kelly Meade, LICSW provides individual therapy at East Coast Recovery Center, where she supports clients in understanding the underlying factors that contribute to substance use, building emotional regulation and coping skills, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. She believes in a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and person-centered approach, meeting each client where they are and partnering with them to develop goals that reflect their own values and vision for recovery.

Kelly brings more than 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals affected by trauma, co-occurring mental health conditions, and crisis. She spent nearly seven years as a clinician in an Partial Day program at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, where she treated highly complex cases involving posttraumatic stress, co-occurring disorders, substance use concerns, and suicide risk. She is trained in multiple evidence-based modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), CBT, and DBT, and has extensive experience providing both individual and group psychotherapy.

Much of Kelly’s career has been dedicated to serving the military community. She has provided clinical care, crisis intervention, and behavioral health consultation at Army medical centers in the United States and overseas, and she currently serves as the Director of Psychological Health for the Air National Guard at Otis Air National Guard Base, where she supports the psychological well-being and readiness of service members and their families. She has also served as a clinical supervisor for psychology and social work interns and as adjunct faculty teaching graduate-level clinical practice courses.

Kelly earned her Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work and has been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 2009. She is committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to build fulfilling lives in recovery.
