At East Coast Recovery, we are focused on providing high-quality, affordable treatment. We have made it our mission to create a place where people can focus on their own recovery. Part of that is by exposing clients to various different treatment programs so clients can find what connects best to them and their needs. Another part is by creating an inviting space for treatment, with things like local community events, cookouts, and group sessions on the beach.
We provide three levels of care to our clients:
The first is our Day Program. This is a full/part-time program that meets for the entire day over the span of several weeks, giving you access to comprehensive, evidence-based programs but still offering the freedom to return home at night.
The second is our Partial Day Program. This is designed for people who need slightly less supervision or support, with a part-time offering of sessions that happen a few days per week, over the span of several weeks.
The final level is traditional outpatient. This is designed for people who have completed other levels of care and are now just looking for some support and stability as they transition back to independence, meeting with support groups or peer groups each week.
By participating in our Day Treatment programs or Partial Day Treatment programs you get a lot of benefits.
Our goal is to give you coping skills and strategies and the opportunity to practice them in real time, building your skill set while you are in therapy. We also aim to help you transition to the next level of care and eventually back to a sober and fulfilling life.
Participating in treatment at our Norwood rehab center gives you access to a wide range of evidence-based practices like K-9 therapy, which allows you the opportunity to build your emotional intelligence, art therapy and music therapy which provide nonverbal outlets for emotional expression, as well as breath work to help focus the mind on the present and reduce stress.
More than that though, our outpatient programs give you the benefits of living at home during treatment and building your independence.
The biggest benefit is that you get to reside at home. You don’t have to stay overnight. This gives you the power to practice the exercises and skills you learned during the day with those around you. If you need additional support we can connect you to professionally managed sober living houses and provide you with transportation to and from your treatment.
We want all of our clients to feel supported throughout every stage of their recovery and that’s why our day treatment programs can provide a smooth transition between intensive treatment and going back home full time. Research indicates that transitioning between multiple levels of care can give you a higher success rate compared to completing a single level of care.
Don’t wait. If you are struggling with addiction, our team can connect you to flexible day programs that make it possible to get help now. We know that busy schedules, work, and family obligations can get in the way of many things, which is why we created programs where you can return home at the end of each day and practice the skills you learned with your loved ones.
With East Coast Recovery, you can start treatment today. Call (617) 390-8349 to start Norwood rehab.
Depending on the program you choose, sessions are broken up into several hours per day, several days per week and your program might last 30 days but it can last longer if necessary. When you call our admissions team we can help you review your expected timeline.
At East Coast Recovery, we want our clients to be as comfortable as possible. With our day and partial day programs this means having the flexibility to leave at the end of each day and return home.
Outpatient rehab provides a chance for you to live at home and then come to our Norwood rehab center during the day for each of your sessions. The program length and the number of sessions in which you participate will vary based on your needs.
With our day and partial day programs, you might have opportunities for family involvement through certain therapies but in general you’ll have the freedom to see your family outside of treatment if you live at home.
At our Norwood rehab center, we want all of our clients to remain focused on their recovery. As an outpatient program, you are allowed to bring personal items including cell phones, wallets, and keys. We only ask that you restrict use of your cell phone while in sessions.
